Built in the 16th century, the Chiesa di San Sebastiano is an impressive parish church that was originally decorated by artist Paolo Veronese. The interior of Venice's Chiesa di San Sebastiano is filled with spectacular frescoes and canvases, which cover much of the ceiling and walls, making it truly unique.
Paolo Veronese was responsible for many of astounding works housed in the Chiesa di San Sebastiano throughout his career in Venice, and after his death he was buried at the church. Other attractions at Venice's Chiesa di San Sebastiano include a number of works by Titian, such as his notable 'San Nicolò' painting near the church entrance.
